At Beany we recommend our clients use Xero, which is fantastic software to manage all your business finances. There are different options to choose from, depending on your business needs.
Xero non-GST Cashbook
This plan allows you to keep track of all your business transactions, reconcile your bank account, and prepare reports such as profit and loss, cashflows or balance sheets. If you're just starting out, don't need to send invoices and aren't GST-registered, we recommend this plan. Monthly price is $12 + GST.
Xero GST Cashbook
If you're registered for GST but don't need software to send invoices then this is a good entry-level option. Monthly price is $23 + GST. You can add on Xero payroll for up to 4 people for an additional $10 + GST per month.
Xero Starter
This plan is for businesses that need to create and send up to 20 invoices a month and have limited creditor bills (up to 5). It also includes payroll for 1 person. Monthly price is $29 + GST (extra charges for payroll use).
Xero Standard
This plan allows you to send unlimited invoices, and also enter unlimited creditor bills. It also includes standard payroll for 2 people (but does not include automated superannuation processing). Monthly price is $59 + GST.
Xero Premium 5
This plan has all the features of standard, and in addition provides payroll for up to 5 people, automates superannuation processing and also gives you the ability to transact in multiple currencies. Monthly price is $76 + GST.
